Digging up Blame

In the article it states how earlier this year the President of Russia accused the US of supporting rebel separatists in the early 2000’s. When after a difficult war in the 1990’s there were many rebel separatists in the North Caucasus mountains the Russian president accused high official intelligence officers of assisting these separatists and even providing them intel and transportation. Later on in the interview with the president he continued on to accuse the US as being one of the most challenging adversities he had to overcome. He also says that it is the West’s fault that Russia is not as strong as it could be, for whenever it starts to grow economically and otherwise the West punishes it. He even goes further to say that the sanctions aren’t a reaction to the recent war but actually just a way to hamper Russia’s development.

I believe that even though we do have some what tight sanctions on Russia I don’t believe that those sanctions are what is causing Russia to not be able to develop. The president is just using the US as a scapegoat for all his failures. HE said he has looked into possibly running again in 2019. So instead of fixing the problems he said he would when he first ran he is blaming the US and the West for the weak political and economical status if their country.

US Relations with Cuba

In this article they discuss how the US and Cuba intend to expand and further develop their relationship. US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez to talk about their countries relations to each other and the upcoming meeting between the two presidents, Barack Obama and Raul Castro. The meeting between these two political powers will be discussing the steps their countries will be taking if the US removes Cuba from their list of countries that support terrorism. This has been a heated topic between the two countries for nearly a decade and has often hurt the two countries relationship with one another. When US Secretary John Kerry and Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez met it was the highest level meeting between the two countries in more than a half century.

This is a key moment in history for these two countries. This meeting will help to better the relationships between the two countries and help to open up financial and aid assistance between the two countries. If this meeting goes well and Cuba is taken off the list of countries that support terrorism then both countries will be able to start working on other political problems between the two. This meeting if successful will most likely be the start of a growing and beneficial relationship between or country and Cuba. Many oppose this lifting of Cuba’s name, but I believe Cuba is ready to change its name for the better and open up a helpful relationship with our country.

Kicked Cause of Cancer

On a flight from Hawaii to San José, California, a woman named Elizabeth Sedway was asked to leave the flight because she admitted to the flight crew that she had blood cancer and she might need some extra time to board cause she gets light headed. After telling them this the consulted a doctor that they had at the terminal and he advised them not to let her board. Since she was not allowed to board she was forced to stay overnight in Hawaii and because of this she missed her chemotherapy she had scheduled for the next day. She was wearing a medical mask in the terminal, but did not have a doctors note.
I believe that what they did to her was unnecessary and unneeded. She posed no real threat to herself or others. She flew to Hawaii so the flight home should not be a problem for her. Due to the incident she missed her chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is very expensive and very necessary for those dealing with cancer so due to the flight company she was unable to make this appointment which could make her symptoms worse. I believe that the company should have let her fly, because she posed no threat to herself or others. Also because that flight home was necessary because she had an appointment the very next day.
